PARIS TODAY

Paris Today offere a modern photographic viewpoint focused on observation and daily life. Meanwhile, the surrounding presentations examined image-making through materials, shapes, and construction. The combination of fashion and installation allowed the exhibition to go beyond just photography, encouraging a conversation between static images and spatial designs. Set in an open commercial space, the program aimed to engage a wide audience, making the exhibition both a cultural and social experience. Overall, the project reflects SIAE’s goal of creating interdisciplinary platforms that showcase contemporary European and Chinese practices in shared public spaces.

Part of a larger exhibition program, it was showcased in the outdoor area of the SHANMU ART MUSEUM and extended into the surrounding mall. The program featured photography, fashion, and illustration through a series of engaging presentations. Highlights included Paris Today by Paul Gibson, womenswear by Wang Zimo, menswear by Lu Qiuyang and Song Luomiao of Kustodia, and the installation From Nothing to Something by Athos Tailor, alongside fashion illustrations by Shi Ling. Together, these works formed a cohesive exhibition that bridged diverse disciplines while remaining accessible in a bustling public space.
